Courses & Registration

REGISTRATION FOR NEW STUDENTS

If Emerson is your home school, please:

Step 1: Complete the online registration.  You do not have to print the signature page.  We will print that from the office.  

Step 2: Submit required documents.  You can upload online or contact the office to set a time to submit in person.  

  • Returning students need one proof of residency (i.e. utility bill, rental agreement) dated within the last 60 days showing parent name and current address.
  • New students will need 2 proofs of residency, original birth certificate and immunization records.

You may register from the link on our website: https://emerson.slcschools.org. If you do not have access to the internet or would like to complete the online registration at our school please email the school 

If you plan to apply for FREE/REDUCED lunch please complete the application. You are responsible for any charges made prior to application approval.

***As a reminder, ALL DOCUMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED before your child will be placed in a class and attend school. We will not accept incomplete registration. (i.e. signature page only, etc.)***

NOTE:  It is our practice that new students register no later than 1:00 pm (11:00 am on early dismissal days) one day prior to their first day of school.  We want to give your child’s new teacher the opportunity to prepare a desk, a locker, materials, and make other arrangements as necessary.  We believe it is important for each new child to be welcomed in the best possible way.
