PTA events and how PTA helps Emerson for 2025-26

• Special Education (SPED) Open House: date TBD. PTA invites everyone in the Emerson community (especially SPED families) to connect and learn about the SPED program.  
• STEM Fair on Th Feb 19, 2026 (probably moving this date!), 5:30-7:30pm. Community members set up interactive STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) activities in and around Emerson.  
• Art Night bake sale on Th April 2, 2026, 5-7:30pm. PTA hosts a bake sale to raise money for the Emerson art program. 
• Spring Carnival on F May 15, 2026, 4:30-7pm, with games and free hot dogs. 
• Restaurant Fundraisers every month: We partner with local restaurants (in 2024: Pizza Nono, Raising Cane’s, Panda Express, Cafe Rio, Cafe Zupas, Bricks Corner) so you get a tasty meal and Emerson gets a share of the proceeds!
• Birthday Board every month: PTA decorates a bulletin board near the library each month with student birthdays.
• Teacher, Staff, and Classroom Support teacher grants, teacher and staff appreciation meals, breakroom snacks, holiday gifts etc., field trips, including the 6th Grade Physics Day and Picnic at Lagoon!
• Garden: PTA financial support helps Emerson students and staff maintain the school’s garden.
• Yearbook: Emerson PTA helps with yearbooks. 
• The Eaglet : Our monthly newsletter includes information on what’s happening, pictures from recent events, and a principal’s message. Here are archived issues of The Eaglet.
